“If Reiki is superior why do you need anything else?”

: With Reiki you are bullied
less. What do you think?
NN
: Bullied
less! You should not be bullied at all!
Nobody should be able to bully you.
You don’t allow it. After
all what’s a bully—a chap who is actually scared himself…You tell them
off….
RN
:
Sometimes you have to. Sometimes
you just have to fight for your own survival.
Reiki doesn’t say that you just lie down there and say, ‘Ok, come and
finish me.’
NN
: Its very interesting, we were
writing The Living Handbook of Reiki
and in that I was guided to write one small page about these kind of questions
which come up every now and then in different forms –“once we have Reiki ,
now I can’t take action against anything….?”
“If Reiki is so great why can’t you fix your problems with Reiki?
Why do you need to go to court? Why
do you need to resort to the legal process?”
Can
anybody answer this question? What
is the meaning when somebody tells you, “you are a Reiki channel—you should
be able to deal this with Reiki. Why are you using these other methods?” What
does it mean?
Ch
: Reiki has advised you to do
that.
NN
: Reiki has advised you!
They reply, “your Reiki is so weak that you need the policeman to help
you!”
Ch
: No, but basically you need
to do some physical activity…
Ch
: That is the way of the
world…
NN
: What physical activity ?
Then why are you thinking you are so superior with Reiki?
Come on, I am challenging you all, wake up!
Ch
:
Actions of karma.
NN
: I don’t understand karma.
What is karma? I don’t
want any “high funda” philosophy!
Ch
: He has to meet the other
person at their level.
NN
: Not at all.
Why should I come down to your level.
You are a very low class person, why should I come down?
I am O.K. where I am!
(laughter)
Ch
: At that particular point of
time that drastic action was required.
NN : Then this
means that Reiki is a failure because ‘drastic action’ to is taken from time
to time in life. Drastic action will be needed from time to time isn’t it?
Then? This is an easy
cop-out!
The
question clearly is—“now that you have
Reiki why are you using other methods to heal your problems or solve them. Does it not mean that Reiki is not all superior because you
are saying Reiki can solve anything?”
(Pause)
Ch :
But I have to do my work honestly.
NN : I am not a
Reiki channel. I don’t know about
your principles of Reiki. I
am asking you a practical question. Don’t
give me philosophy—“ Why do you have to resort to legal action or to any
other kind of help?”
Haven’t
you ever been confronted by this sort of question?
It’s a very nasty question. What do you do when you are faced with
this? Come on …you should be
ready to answer for any situation.
“Ji usko kisi ne kuch kar
diya, (sir, somebody did something bad to him) —what is the need for you
to take legal action. Why can’t
Reiki, your famous Reiki, which you claim can get you
out of this cycle of birth and death also—why can’t that get you out
of that little dispute? Answer me
this!”
Ch
: Reiki is using the court
case as a medium to….
NN
: How do I know that ?
I don’t know that. Only
you are claiming this.
Ch
: Only time will tell.
NN
: Time
will tell! Until that time why
should I accept what you are saying about Reiki?
Ch
: It’s my confidence in
Reiki, I don’t care about what you think .
NN
: Very good!
That’s a good answer. What
else can you say?
(Pause)
Ch
: Back to square one.
NN
: To
uska jawaab bhi aapko mil jayega (So, you will get a response for that
also). The response is: that the
half-blind is leading the totally blind into the ditch.
To tum bhi wahin ja rahe ho—So you are also going there—and then
you will say, “time will tell!” How
do you deal with this?
(Pause)
See, the situation is almost like a confrontation.
The person is saying, in other words, that you are a failure because
‘Reiki has failed to do this’ thing for you isn’t it?
And
this is coming up because lot of you don’t know how to answer this; which
means you also feel like this somewhere within.
Chs
: No.
NN
: Yes.
That’s why it has come up.
(Pause)
Ch
: It’s actually
the vibratory rate at which the problem is existing, we have to deal with it at
the same level.
NN
: O.K. simplify this.
That is the correct answer.
(Pause)
I may
have Reiki, but there is past karma also or past influence.
Everything is not perfect today. It
is on the way to becoming perfect and
it may require more healing time, and the fact is that… you
are coming to cheat me.
(Pause)
The
correct answer is that, ‘you are coming to cheat me and then you are telling
me that I have no recourse under law—that I should
not have recourse under law.’
That
means everyone is free to cheat
Reiki channels. This is what you are proposing, isn’t it?
That if somebody is doing something
wrong against a Reiki Channel the Reiki person should lie down and roll over.
Put their legs in the air and say, ‘come and kill me’.
Basically that’s what you
are asking.
Why
should we do that because it suits your envious or
whatever other kind of nature you have? We should not judge them, but
basically it is their envious nature from where this question is coming.
So the answer is that we will not lie
down and roll over, just be there because it is good for you, because it suits
you. We have every right to take
all kinds of recourse which are perfectly bonafide and legal and we will take it
and we will ask Reiki to give you a slap also if necessary![1]
(laughter)
RN
: Or heal the situation in
love and light.
NN
: It’s the same thing—and,
the bottom line is: what is your problem? Your problem is
that you are upset because you
don’t have Reiki.
So take
Reiki. It’s available for a clown
like you also!
(laughter)
Join us
and then see. You are speaking from a lack of Reiki.
That is what is upsetting you and irritating you. You are actually
thinking, “I don’t have this valuable thing this person has” —that’s
the whole basis of that question.
The
fellow is feeling envious, that you have something which is valuable. He knows
internally, within himself that actually you have something which is of great
value. He doesn’t have it,
that’s what is irritating him. So
send him DRL[2]
(Reiki) and tell him, “you can also have
it! What is the difficulty?
You also take Reiki, it is not something forbidden.”
RN
: But
a lot of people think
Reiki…you also have to expand on here—that Reiki is unconditional love…
NN
:
Exactly! So, we are saying that even you may be opposed to me or to this
or that, you take Reiki. Reiki is not going to judge you; Reiki is not going to not
come to you. Reiki is available to you
also. This is the point.
It is very clear—the person who is making this kind of challenge is
actually hurting.
RN
: He needs lot of Reiki.
NN
: He is in pain because his Reiki
flow is in bad shape. So first you make up that lack, give him the DRL (Reiki), put
him in the protection boxes,[3]
and whatever else you need to do and tell him, “you also take Reiki.”
What is the difficulty?
And
then see the fun…. and why should we not use everything?
It doesn’t mean I have got Reiki, now I should not have a bath or I
should not eat food. I should live
on Reiki only. Some people can do it; we have not reached that state but maybe
we will reach it after some time. We don’t know.
So this
is the point: You will be involved
in disputes, you will be involved in karmic repercussions, you will be involved
in so many things. The point is how
you deal with it.
But the
other person doesn’t understands this. You
can give him this but will not be satisfied with this explanation. So you have
to bring it home to him. “You also take Reiki”, that’s what it is about.
Ch
: No, but past karmas have
already been healed. So what is the
need?
NN
: If past karmas are 100% healed
then you are no longer available to
live in this body. Then you leave this body and don’t come back.
Our past karma is not yet 100%
healed.
Ch
: No, but you told us in one
(advanced method of healing) in which...
NN
: We are having some Reiki 1’s
here, so we will discuss that later in the Reiki 2 assembly.
Ch
: Now if that person is
already negative towards Reiki, shall I repeat that Reiki…? what exact.....
NN
: No, what you have to do is, you
have to explain…
RN
: See, there is one thing you
have to explain to anybody who is very belligerent about Reiki, the first thing
you have to make them understand is—what is Reiki? Reiki is
not a hocus-pocus thing.
NN
: It’s not a religious process and
nor is it a cult.
RN
: It
is only unconditional loving energy and anybody and everybody needs it; and
then maybe you can get him into a little bit of discussion about what is love
and you know whether they have enough of it. And I have found
that 99.9% of the people come around to understanding that their belief
about Reiki or what they have heard is so different from what it actually is and
they become quiet and pacified. So
sometimes we have to go, step a little bit closer to the person to make him
understand—Reiki is not anything but the loving energy of the universe. Once they understand that , its much easier to have this
conversation with them.
NN
: Ya,
what you should do, you see if you are arguing about something and you are
thinking you are talking about XYZ , that fellow thinks you are talking about
PQR you will never come to a common
ground.
So you
should define parameters right in the beginning.
Explore those—say, what are we talking about? It will save much useless
discussion and prevent avoidable argument.
And,
throughout these activities radiate healing Reiki love.
